About UN Watch: UN Watch is a non-governmental organization that monitors the performance of the United Nations according to the yardstick of its Charter, defends universal human rights, and advocates for victims of the world’s worst dictatorships. UN Watch stands at the forefront in the struggle against antisemitism and anti-Israeli prejudice at the UN.

 

About the Fellowship: We are currently accepting applications for the one-year Morris B. Abram Fellowship at UN Watch, to begin in September 2025. The fellowship is designed to train recent college graduates. Previous UN Watch Fellows have gone on to distinguished careers in law, government, diplomacy, human rights and journalism. Alumni include the former editor-in-chief of Foreign Policy magazine.

 

Responsibilities: UN Watch Fellows work closely with the Executive Director and draft reports, speeches, op-eds, press releases and correspondence; monitor and report on UN sessions; research and fact-check; and perform an array of tasks in social media management, video editing, and administrative functions.


Stipend: The Fellowship is located in Geneva, Switzerland, and offers a generous annual stipend and use of a studio apartment, for a total worth approximately U.S. $50,000. UN Watch will also provide the Fellow with health insurance, along with travel to and from Geneva.

Job requirements

• At least one university degree
• Native-level English fluency
• Ability to write superb articles of publishable quality on the issues covered by UN Watch
• Strong understanding of international relations and the history of ideas
• Qualities of initiative, intellectual curiosity
• Ability to work in a small, team-oriented environment operating under strict deadlines
• Demonstrable commitment to the UN Watch mission
